Oak & Acorns Class

$210.00

Meets from 9:30 - 10:45 am on Wednesday mornings, beginning September 24, 2025.

Our Oak & Acorns class is designed for children ages 18 months to 3 years accompanied by a parent, guardian, or caregiver. Our first session meets weekly, for 6 weeks, allowing for a consistent and nurturing environment.

The class follows a gentle, flexible rhythm, starting with a calm arrival where children and caregivers can explore the outdoor space and settle in. The group then gathers for a brief circle time, where we may sing a welcome song, discuss the day’s theme, or share observations about the environment. After our morning "hello's" the group will hike together out to one of our outdoor classrooms where children and caregivers will engage in a hands-on exploration activity, such as scavenger hunt, craft, painting, or sensory play, encouraging curiosity and connection with the natural world. A snack or break follows a short story, giving families a chance to relax and chat, maybe even foster lifelong friendships!

The class concludes with a closing circle, where children and caregivers share their experiences, often followed by a goodbye song or moment of gratitude. The class structure is designed to be flexible and child-led, allowing for exploration at a comfortable pace while fostering a deeper connection to nature.
